The antiques everywhere were stunning, but the noisy streets made it hard to relax.

easy access to parks and iconic landmarks in malang
staying here was such a treat as I could easily stroll to nearby attractions like the Jami Great Mosque and Alun Alun, both just a short walk away, while the beautiful ambiance of the hotel, developed from a colonial house, truly captivated me throughout my visit.

A museum-like retreat in Malang
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with incredible hospitality, especially Indri, who went above and beyond to arrange our transportation and scooter rental. The hotel is a visual feast filled with art and history, while the main restaurant, Melati, serves delectable dishes that rival the best in Malang. The daily fresh flowers in our spacious Executive Suite made our stay feel luxurious.

beautiful decor but communication needs improvement
The hotel's interior design is breathtaking, with antiques that you can appreciate throughout the premises. I also enjoyed the complimentary guided tour of the antiquities, which really enhanced my understanding of the hotel's history. Plus, the city view from my Executive Suite added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay.
while the aesthetic is lovely, the staff's communication about available services was lacking.

We really enjoyed our stay here, especially loved the beautiful antique decorations all around the hotel. Took a fun day trip to Blitar to check out Candi Penataran—definitely worth the visit!
My kids wished for more family-friendly activities.

We had a fantastic group vacation. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the grounds are well-maintained. We took a day trip to Blitar to see Candi Penataran, which was incredible. The staff really went above and beyond, even organizing a private dinner for us. Great value for money compared to other hotels in the area.
One downside was the restaurant. I found the Middle Eastern food quite bland and disappointing.

The warm welcome from the staff was a highlight, particularly the effort they made to assist with our travel needs, including arranging airport transportation smoothly. Enjoying a wide variety of delicious options at the restaurant made meals exceptional, especially the scrumptious scrambled eggs for breakfast. However, the atmosphere was occasionally disrupted by inconsistent music choices that didn’t match the elegant ambiance. Additionally, while the pool area was inviting, clearer signage would help in navigating the property more easily. Overall, this hotel offers a unique experience but has room for improvement in certain areas.

We had an amazing stay with friends. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. We took a day trip to Blitar and visited Candi Penataran, which were both incredible experiences. Breakfast was more than enough to fill us up for the day, and exploring the hotel's art collection was a highlight.
While the pool area was inviting, the noise from the street outside made it challenging to fully relax.
