    easy access to parks and iconic landmarks in malang

    Staying here was such a treat as I could easily stroll to nearby attractions like the Jami Great Mosque and Alun Alun, both just a short walk away, while the beautiful ambiance of the hotel, developed from a colonial house, captivated me throughout my visit.

    A museum-like retreat in Malang

    The staff welcomed us with very nice hospitality, especially Indri, were very good to arrange our transportation and scooter rental. The hotel is a visual feast filled with art and history, while the main restaurant, Melati, serves delectable dishes that rival the best in Malang. The daily fresh flowers in our spacious Executive Suite.

    Truly enjoyed the hotel, it is magnificent and fairly clean, has great location near the station. Location: the property was not far from the Thai-Cambodian Restaurant as well as flower markets. Ate at Bug Matira, it's approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the venue.

    beautiful decor but communication needs improvement

    The hotel's interior design is amazing, with antiques that you can appreciate throughout the premises. I also enjoyed the complimentary guided tour of the antiquities, which really enhanced my understanding of the hotel's history. Plus, the city view from my Executive Suite added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay.

    while the aesthetic is lovely, the staff's communication about available services was lacking.

    We loved the idea behind these hotels and some antiques and areas are very beautiful, but this hotel in Malang definitely needs renovation. It’s at a point that it even starts to look a bit dirty. But it’s nevertheless still the best place to stay in Malang. A few more swimming pool beds would be a plus (only two now!).

    Took a fun day trip to Blitar to check out Candi Penataran-definitely worth the visit! Plus, the kids had a blast playing by the lovely pool area, and it was a joy to have our dogs with us too.

    My kids wished for more family-friendly activities.

    fantastic group vacation

    We had a fantastic group vacation. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the grounds are well-maintained. We took a day trip to Blitar to see Candi Penataran, very nice. The staff really were really nice, even organizing a private dinner for us. Great value for money compared to other hotels in the area.
